Sally Parker, who is playing The Verger is a keen amateur performer and has been a member of Wadams (Wroughton Amateur Dramatics and Music Society) for around 30 years and is currently their secretary. Prior to that she was member of The Western Players and also took part in several of the One Act Play festivals at the Arts Centre in the town. Sally’s interest in drama was sparked at school where she studied for Guildhall School of music and drama certificates. Sally has been married to Clive (playing a Pharisee) for 13 years, has lived in Wroughton for 38 years and have a 32 year old son. Clive and Sally regularly attend St John the Baptist and St Helens Church. It is fair to say that the whole production was inspired by a conversation Sally had with the Curate, Nicola Such back in March 2015 and this entire epic piece grew from those early ideas and the natural geography of this village which lends itself so well to the piece.
